Hi here is what I am facing, my net book’s hard drive crashed I am looking to replace the drive. Its a asus EEPC HE 5000. Can I replace the current faulty drive with a drive who's storage capacity is more then a 500 gig drive? Currently it has a 120 Gig drive which it came with installed, Any helpful advice would bee nice, I am going to call assus later to night, trying to reach their tech support is a try and true patients test.

you can replace it with any capacity harddrive so long as you have a way to re install windows and all the drivers or clone that internal drive to another larger drive. And so long as the physical size of the drive is a laptop 2.5" drive.

Try looking at the February issue of smart computing if you can get one.
